Acting for the Camera workshop with Mimi Eisman
Daisy began taking an Acting for the Camera summer workshop with acting coach Mimi Eisman, founder of "Lights, Camera, Eisman". The intimate classes incorporate improv games and cold-readings for a challenging yet entertaining course in acting for the camera and auditioning techniques.

Daisy will be attending "A Panel Discussion with Industry Professionals" hosted by Casting agent Erica Arvold. This workshop will be held on April 16th at their office in Charlottesville.

Women's Day "The Gift"
Women's Day - a gift that will keep on giving!
Daisy was excited to be able to use her talents for God during this year’s Women’s Day. She produced and narrated the opening video, with the editing help of LV Harrell of LaMarv Productions. In addition, she had the opportunity to use her dancing skills once again in the hip hop dance finale (a dance mix of Mary Mary’s “Shackles” and “Heaven”). She also shot footage of the event, and again using the help of LV Harrell, created an event highlight reel for the church’s website. All three videos are available here on her website for viewing.

This year’s Women's Day entitled "The Gift," was a gift that will surely keep on giving. Over 800 women gathered at Portsmouth Renaissance Hotel to hear Women's Ministry Leader, Jennifer Lambert, preach powerfully about the gift of God. Based on John 4:10, "If you knew the gift of God...," she called the women to open the Gift of God, and live a life of radical gratitude striving to appreciate the greatest gift God has ever given: His Son. There was an overwhelming sense of excitement throughout the afternoon as the fellowship was encouraging, amazing door prizes were given, and musical performances that were simply spectacular.

Bullock and Cooper Shoot
Daisy recently shot a Bullock and Cooper commercial at Regent University’s law building. She was cast as an upstanding citizen of the community who was being charged with a DUI, which led to these attorneys representing her. Tanya Bullock and Wanda Cooper are twin sisters who own a general practice firm located in Virginia Beach.
Daisy Attends the 2011 State of the Industry for Virginia Film
James and Daisy both attended the State of the Industry event for Virginia Film on Wed February 3, 2011 at the DuPont Sustainable Solutions (Formerly Coastal Training Technologies).
This free yearly event was a great time to network with actors, filmmakers, and other people from all aspects of the film industry. There was great food, movie screenings, and vendors representing costume design to make-up artists to acting agents and classes.

MGM'S PAUL WEBER - COLD READING WORKSHOP
Daisy had the opportunity to participate in a Cold Reading Workshop with Paul Weber, senior casting director from MGM Film & Televsion. About 32 actors from various acting backgrounds convened at the Actors Place in Virginia Beach to learn from Mr. Weber about the art of auditioning for film/TV.

TYLER PERRY'S "MADEA'S BIG HAPPY FAMILY" PLAY
Daisy was able to enjoy a date night with her hubby to see Tyler Perry's newest play - "Madea's Big Happy Family". The show was held at the Ted Constant Center in Norfolk on April 20th. What a great mix of comedy, drama, and life lessons from Madea herself! They were entertained by the touching story and the impressive singing. It's so captivating to see Tyler parade around in that Madea dress! Be sure to check it out when it comes to your city!

Daisy was cast as a principal in the VIMS educational video called "Bling My Boat". Her character, Alana, was a boating instructor relating information on boating and environmental safety.
